My bro (25) and his gf of 3-years (21) just got engaged. However, when he told my parents they were really mad about it. How can i help calm them down and let them be cool with the marriage?

You didn't say why they were angry. Pehaps they have a good reason.

Just take a conversation with your parents wisely .

There's a question that you have to ask your parents.
1. Why you are angry about my bro's engage?
2. Do you mad about bro's gf?

Good luck girl.

You cant. Your parents do not have a say who your brother is going to marry and if they don't like it to bad. Your brother is not marrying them.

You might try to find out why your parents are upset it might be something you don't even know about.

Parent might be be trying to protect their son from something they found out.

But! Again your bro can do what ever and your parents could be making a fuss that could cause them to loose their son forever.

Ask your parents

You shouldnt have told your parents. If your brother really has serious thoughts with this girl im sure he would have waited for the right time to tell your parents about this. You got into their lives and now you want to calm the spirits... Not fair i think.

Let your brother and your parents work it out, stay neutral and refuse to get involved in the drama.

Stay out of this.
I'll bet your brother like you stirring up the hornets nest too.

How about: this is between your brother and your parents, and you would be wise to stay out of it?
