IIT -They conduct entrance exam separately. the first OBJECTIVE test will conducted and based on the screening a written test with question answer mode will held in april.purely thee selection is merit basis.
really this will be tough for average students.hard working from 8th or 9th standard onwards aiming for this is required.
maths, physics,chemistry are the main subjects.the questions and problems will be based on fundamental and logical working.
many guides and question banks available for the students to practice for this.
anything is possible if you have the will and determination.
for AIEEE-This is objective type entrance exam on all india basis .national and state level ranking given based on entrance marks.the iit norms and guidelines applicable for this also.this is slightly easier than IIT
