The honey and sugar scrub will help get rid of the flaky skin. Then use organic coconut oil (put in a small (preferably glass)container you can keep with you) every 30 minutes or so till less dry. Then as needed. You can add a drop or two of Young Living lavender essential oil to the cc oil--I don't trust any other EO. Drink lots of water, and DON'T lick your lips.

A good high potency multivitamin-mineral tablet daily and a broad spectrum essential fatty acid supplement daily. Use a cocoa butter based lip balm preferably one with aloe and/or vitamin E in it until the vitamins and efa's kick in.
Good luck!

your lips are dry and cracking because you have a habbit of licking your lips. you are licking the natural oils that your skin is producing to protect your lips right off everytime you lick them. stop licking them and then use plain old chapstick. Promise you the problem will ceise.

Continue this process until they heal. Good luck!

Apply Vaseline petrolatum jelly often and especially at night before you go to sleep as mouth breathing at night is what makes them worse. Its the best lasting protection and if you use it often you won't get so many cold sores either. Its made in Australia by Unilever.

vaseline is a good one - I put it on a little thicker at night, every night, and haven't had lip-cracking problems since. It might look a little gross to put more on than's attractive but you're just going to bed anyway and it really works.
