The Internet was recently full of urban myths about this boy after he commited suicide through being bullied. The urban myths said he was alive and well (including to their shame snopes.com). Not true. I visited his grave in South Africa last month.

Should we mark the death of this poor bullied boy with two minutes silence? Shouldn't we have a national anti-bullying day? Wouldn't that "be great"?

Some of the answers so far have been pretty sick.

And yes, the boy did have a name other than "the Fosties boy", and he did have a life beyond that advert... but so much pain, so much darkness.

Dude he is not dead. I dont know whose grave you went to visit, but it wasnt his.

If you are convinced he really is dead, then tell us him name. Surely it didnt say Frosties boy on his grave!

Oh and by the way national anti-bullying day was 8th September this year. Take a look at www.beatbullying.org

Are you serious? Is he really dead? You're winding me up! If he is dead R.I.P.
Regardless, bullying is a really serious issue and as much publicity there is about it, it doesn't get sorted out. Schools don't want to deal with it because they don't want to admit they have a problem, which really pees me off because surely the well being of even one child should be more important than a schools reputation. I personally would admire a school if it admitted its problems and dealt with them successfully. My 6 year old son has come home bruised from other children and last week he got spat on in his face. My heart was broken and all his lame head teacher can say is that they are 'dealing with it'. Well my sons had to get older children to look out for him now, we had to take it into own hands, luckilly he's popular so the older kids like taking care of him, but the school haven't done anything.

Yes. That would be wonderful. People need to learn that bullying only causes more pain and grief than imaginable. In the national anti-bullying day there should be some kind of a move or something that people can see the kinds of tragedies that bullying causes.

Bullying should be made much more aware as it does affect a lot of peoples life's really badly, the more we are aware of it the better so yes a national bullying day would be a great thing.

Why did you visit his grave? Was it great? Or was it grave?

I wonder why he was bullied? Let's all make up new posthumous verses to the nauseating tune!

..... they're gonna taste great ....even when you are dead.... you can eat them as you decompose on yor bed....

..... they're gonna taste great .... when you bully your mate..... you can beat him up and crucify him on a gate.....

..... they're gonna taste great .... when your overweight.... you can top yourself because of self-loathing hate.....
