Mainly hard rock with a little metal thrown in. European hard rock/metal is the best ever. Wish I lived there. I also like classical and alaternative rock. I hate courntry- its too depressing. I like fun, lively, upbeat stuff. Pop and gospel are a just a bunch of unoriginal racket. Pop is also very whiny and angry in a selfish way, from what I have been so unfortunate as to hear. Maybe I am wrong, though.

At the moment I'm mostly favouring melacholic boys with acoustic guitars (Rufus Wainwright, Bright Eyes, Ryan Adams et. al),
But I also listen to loads of Indie (Belle and Seabastian, Hidden Cameras, Camera Obscura), New Wave (Elvis Costello and Psychedelic Furs in particular), Glam Rock (T. Rex, Bowie's Ziggy period), my ol' favourite Alt Rock (Smashing Pumpkins, Hole, Pixies) and proper punk rock (The Clash, New York Dolls, The Undertones, Buzzcocks).
Oh and some slightly more poppy stuff (like Barenaked Ladies, Pulp and Franz Ferdinand). And then stuff that's called "emo" (like Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, The Used, Funeral For a Friend et al.) and indie/alternative 80s stuff (The Cure, JAMC, The Smiths).
Really we could be here all day as I'm a bit of a music geek so to sum up, anything but Celine Dion and Simply Red!

I like nearly every kind of music from Classical to pop. I also like remixes as I am a DJ/KJ. I very rarely mix my own tracks as I find that people will always critisize you. So I just play what people like with a twist. You can get some good remixes of well known tracks to make a change from the norm.

As a musician and producer, there is no form of music I do not get something from, although i don't want to listen to every kind of music all the time. I think culture plays a huge part in determining what you might want to listen to. Being from the Bronx, I like rap. Being Mexican, I like Latin music. Also, your personality dictates it as well. I am spontaneous, which may have something to do with why I like Jazz.
