As long as you are far enough along, and you are having the c-section for medical reasons such as you have had a prior c-section, then usually you just go to the hospital and they call the on-call doctor to come in and do an "emergency" c-section. It isn't necessarily an emergency, but if you are having it for medical reasons, then they don't want you to have the baby vaginally. It will be the same as a scheduled c-section, just sooner than you planned! Good luck!

This happened to me and I had my baby natural. Although, in my case the only reason for doing the c-section was b/c I had already had a previous c-sec, my baby was getting really big(he ended up being 10lbs when born) and the risks of giving me drugs to induce me were not worth it. Since they didnt have to induce me and did an ultra sound before the delivery I was able to have him vag. It was great!

Then you go to the hospital and they will do a c-section sooner unless you can have your baby naturally. If you are going into labor too early they may try and stop it with meds so the baby has time to develop its lungs. If you think you are in labor go to the hospital.

Depends on why the c/s was scheduled in the first place. If it wasn't for a medical emergency, you'll be able to labor and deliver your child normally.

You still have a c section but earlier...
I think if you are having one for medical reasons, but if you're just having one because you dont want to go through labor.... i'm not sure?

if it is possible they will delever your baby naturally if not then you will probally have a c section then because the baby is ready to meet you face to face.

if they can catch it early enough, they give you drugs to slow your labor down thru an IV.
