Just for simplicity, in terms of interest yield, current has the lowest while fixed deposit the highest. On the other hand, in terms of liquidity, current is the most liquid and fixed deposit is the least. In term of its application, current is the most difficult and fixed deposit is the easiest. Now please choose depend on your requirements.

i'm on savings account and occassional fixed deposit.. current account has too many charges for this and charge for that.. so no thanks..

when i do have a bit to spare i'll put it on short term fixed deposit.
