The difference in colour we observe in the sea is because of:
1. Deapth of the sea
2. Concentration of Salt and chemical contents

The colour of the sea depends on the light that is being reflected by the water which can be compared to a Prism which reflects all the 7 colours.

Sea is blue, one of the reason is the reflection of the blue sky. However one cratical condition is very important. That is the low water depth.

In contrast, if the location is in deep water level, then it is very difficult to reflect the blue sky. Usually in green colour due to the reflection of the hill and the sea bed.

what you see is a reflection from the water and from the bottom.
cold and deep seas have little vegetation near the top, but in the tropics, especially shallow lagoons, coral and algae change the color reflected from the water to greenish, also sand mixes yellow with blue to result in nice green

Due to reflection of sky over the sea. Or the sea bed seems to contain flora.

Different places in the sea have different colors because of the salt below them. For example in Kanyakumari you can see different colors of water on the three sides because the salt and dissolved minerals below the sea of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea are different.

Pollution. That's not just pollution in the water, but also pollution in the air. Plus whatever that's in the water that looks green.

I have wondered about whether the sky is green in some places, but I don't think it actually is.
