Have you ever had a friend who constantly said to you "if you ever need help, anytime of day or nite..just give me a call and I'll be there"???

Most people I think do...but what would you say if they let you down not only once but twice? Both times with no excuse just Sorry I couldn't make it
P/S Nothing illegal : )

I don't like head games.
I will ask for help only once for what ever it is I need.
if I don't get the help I will never ask again.

but if I'm asked for help, I will be there for that
person, even if they have not been there for
me when I needed it.

that's the kind of person I am.

That kind of a friend is not a real friend. A true friend would do his darndest to get to you or help you if you were in trouble. Apologies like that, without any explanation are just so lame.

Real sincere friend will not back out at any cost . Now you can make out , they are there for the sake of time pass , not really dear friends .Any way watch out your choice in future .

Then I wouldn't call them a close friend but an acquaintance.

i would probably just express how it made me feel to know that i couldn't count on them as a friend. especially when they volunteered their services. also let them know that since u see they won't be there for u, u won't be bothering them again when u have a problem

Don't take it too heart. Learn from his/her mistakes and try to be a good friend to all.
