Ask any Malaysian who is their greatest ever footballer, the answer is : Mokthar Dahari.
Sadly he died some years ago of a muscle disease.
Others who have shone include Zainal Abidin, Santokh Singh, R Arumugam and Soh Chin Aun.

the late Mokhtar Dahari, used to play for Selangor & MALAYSIA national team in the 1970's & 1980's but sadly he passed away at age 39 on 11 June 1991. he will forever be remembered as one the best football players not just in MALAYSIA but in Asia.
