my boyfriends feet look gross like red and raw by the heel and and the bottom of his feet, is that what athletes foot is?? he wear boots for work so every day his feet are sweaty and stinky, could this be the reason?

He has athlete's foot (in Asia we call it Hong Kong Foot). There are many creams and ointments and powders that will cure it, and a mild foot bath of bleach water will prevent re-infection. Air shoes regularly, wash sox with bleach...white sox are best....But keeping the feet as dry as possible is important as the wet skin allows the fugus free entry. We used to use Undycelenic acid but any of the newer products are just as good or better.
