How silly people are to write political obituaries on Mr Blair. Mr Blair is the first Labour leader to lead his party to 3 straight election victories, brought them back to power after nearly 18 years in the wilderness.

He created a New Labour that no longer has the unions running the show, in fact Lab has usurped many positions that only the Tories were known to take. The economy grew after stagnation under John Major.

Yes, his time is now up, but that is a reality every politician faces, like the former PM of Thailand. But unlike Mr Thaksin, Mr Blair has already announced his intention to quit and thrown the spotlight back on Gordon Brown and his fitness for office.

Margaret Thatcher was considered unceremoniously bumped from office but look where the public considers her now compared to her successor, John Major? Lady Thatcher is forever known as the Iron Lady who made Britain great again, whilst Major is regarded as a boring chap who strayed in office and presided on the decline of the Conservative party.

Those who write about Tony Blair's demise forget that only a few are ever made PM and Mr Blair's 10 years in office is the only record that people will write and look up to, 20 years from now.

In danger of what ?
He will remain Prime Minister until George Bush has taken what he needs from him (back-up for a war on Iran - possibly). Blair is just a puppet who's waiting to make a fortune in America.

Have just returned from USA and even they seem to be aware that Tony's days are numbered. And it seemed while watching their news of TV it tends to be what happened in their state, not a lot of General World News, which brings their concerns even more to light.
