It is in your TOILET!

There are mechanical float switches which are simple in operation and easy to install.
Normally they have a ampre rating of 15amps.
They have 3 leads on the wire. One is the connected to your phase line, the other two are for connection to the phase line of your pump, depending on the operation you need.If a float switch is installed in an underground sump, you need the pump to shut off when the water level is low.So one of the two wires is for this ie shut off when the float goes down.
In an overhead tan its the opposite ie the pump should shut down when the water level has reached the maximum set level. The remaining wire is for this.
There is also a counterweight which can be adjusted so that you can adjust the activation of the switch at a particular level.
Dont worry normally the switch comes with a full set of instructions.
Even if your pump is a small one it is adviseable to do the switching to the pump from the float switch through a solenoid. This will give the float switch longer life.
If you have a three phase pump you will definitely need a solenoid.
Float switches are imported and should be available in reputed electrical shops in metros.
There are even Indian made ones now, which are cheaper. But I dont know how long they will last.
Hope this was helpful to your question.

It is call flow con troll, float valve it is in your toilet tank, but they make bigger valves for bigger jobs, try local plumbing supply or plumbing contractors.

Call the builder or architect.

There are all kinds of these valves they can shut of the pump also or if it is city pressure type filling it will be just like toilet tank.
