i predict that the u.s. is not going to be the "top dog" anymore.

iran is very powerful in that region. and iran is skillfull- they have alliances with russia (who have nukes), china(nukes), india(nukes), pakistan(nukes), venezuela (a very oil rich country who hates the u.s.-though we get most of our oil from them and i don't know if they have nukes yet), and others...
and they're not afraid to stand up against the u.s.
further, the u.s. needs iran to help get out of iraq.
if this administration had played thier cards right with iran, both countries could prosper and so would their allies and there would not be such a venomous rivalry between them.

it's just ridiculously unproductive.

Another murderous campaign by the so called civilised and the great democracies of the west. International communities do not exist anymore except for those who bend over to US.
It is unfortunate that people are ill-informed and cannot be trusted with their own governments.
People of Iran will gain unity, strength and confidence by every experience - just look at the history of nazis and british empire - History is repeating itself.

Did you read or listen to their President's latest press question time?

Don't be fooled by all the rhetoric that he sprouts any more than what George Bush flatters himself we all swallow.

Between them those two know how to play the game and matters are not what they seem.

What scares the wits out of me is an earthquake riddled country having nuclear power plants ! Now that is the wake up call we should all be shouting about!

I agree with the first answer which reminds me a lot of rage against the machine but I think world war three. as we speak russia india and china are doing war games... they dont want us to mess with their middle eastern interest. its a game of chess and a lot of pawns will be lost.
