I recently heard that Prince will be performing at this year's Superbowl as the halftime act. Do you think they could've gotten someone better? Who would you like to see instead of Prince or are you cool with Prince playing?

I have nothing against Prince, however I am wondering why they keep bringing in artists from years ago to perform. The key demographic their sponsors try to reach are young males age 16-30, so by bringing in artists from before their time they are alienating their key demographic. For example: Rolling Stones last year, Aerosmith, Prince (if he does in fact get the gig)
Why not get artists that are popular now, that way they can reach out to the young adults and potentially have more tune in and have a greater sale of sponsor's items.
Only seems logical to me

What if Prince has a "costume malfunction"? We'd have mass confusion about whether we were offended by male or female nudity!

I am cool with Prince playing Halftime.I think he will be GREAT!!!!!He is an original,nobody quite like him.I am a big fan!

im not a massive fan, but prince is a genius of music and a forever legend of the art. it would be a good choice for him to appear anywhere, except sturgis perhaps.

I hope it's true! I think it's a fantastic choice. He's from my generations (grew up in the 80's), and for those of you who do not know, he is a fantastic talent. He is an original.
