FALL = AMERICAN AUTUMN ...WHEN THE LEAVES FALL

Fall is Autumn. Between summer and winter. In the US, that's anywhere from August to November in the business world.

Companies sometimes give general time frames for product releases to keep competitors from trying to outdo them the same day. Or they haven't finalized the product but know it should be ready "soon" so they say "this fall" for example.

/Sept/ The year is divided into 4 seasons. They are: winter, spring, summer, and fall. The first day of fall is tomorrow: Sept.23rd. The last day of fall falls about the 23rd of December.... Therefore it will be released anytime in between those two dates . all understood ?

i always understood fall to mean september, october, november.

if it is a board / computer / system game, its probably going to mean november.. most people do their christmas shopping the day after thanksgiving, so companies like to have their new products out around then.
