Just wondering because i'm over my download limit and I know that watching quicktime trailers and such counts as downloading but I'm hoping to god that videos on youtube dosen't count as a download. Even if it would make absolutely no sense at all. But I hoping.

Even while browsing also some cookies get downloaded onto your computer and they are counted in the downloading account. Same thing in the case of you watching the trailers online because some content would defenitly get downloaded and this will be counted.

Everythin you click on internet is counted as download. Go to webpage is download, hear music is download, watch movie is download etc. On internet everythin what u see or hear is downloaded from somewhere. You know how can you watch something when its not on your PC, it must be there for u to watchi it.
Reaction for RXdeadman: Even streamin means downloadin, its just another word for it. Streamed means you will watch somethin but it will be not downloaded to some file which u want, but it will be downloaded to temporary internet files.

Youtube is a stream not a download. When you download something it is usually saved to your hard drive. I don't know what or who makes the rules on your Internet activity buts that's the basic idea.

i don't know what kind of pc set-up you have for limited downloads, there is no limit on mine, to answer your question, it is a download if you save it to your hard drive, but, if you just run the file it goes into your temp, file and is gone when you dump your temp file.temp files can be set up to dump when you close your pc down.
