Why are certain styles always associated with a particular race? Why are they not just treated as what they are... STYLES and FASHION? Why is wearing your hat sideways "acting black"? Is wearing a tie "acting white"?
I say let kids choose whatever style they like. If a white kid wants to wear his cap sideways that's fine. If a black kid wants the same hairstyle as Beckham that's fine. It's just that, a style. Not a race thing. They may think it's cool and want to fit in with a certain group but that doesn't mean they aren't proud of their own race.
Why do people constantly have to segregate everything into a race thing?

The mainstream of any country tends to have these problems. White American (U.S.) identity is too big and amorphous to have much real meaning. So white kids struggle to find their own -- through sports, drug use, music, clothes, loyalty to a specific brand or label.
Also, everyone in the U.S. is being $h*£ on by the mega-corporations who are taking as much of your labour and your money as they can get away with. White kids sense this, even if they can't articulate it, but don't have many examples of talking about it in their own culture; black music has understood it for a couple hundred years

You are taking note of something that happens to be instigated by CULTURE, not race. Kids are raised around certain cultures and they reflect it. Some is behavioral and some is simple visual, like fashions.
I don't look at things racially, but I do admit I don't like trends that glorify anything to do with "gangstas", because of glorifying the violence in that lifestyle. However, I've learned I have to look past the fashions sometimes, because not all people are like that; they just dress in current style.
I liked the 80's, and still do, but some of that was weird too, LOL!

it is because for one thing blacks are aggressive. and will bully anyone different from them it is in there nature comeing from fighting all the time with tribes in there homeland,anyone different died. so the white kids eather fight back, are join them. the ones that join them are weak and wont the blacks to there buddys but they will turn on you in a minute,they will turn on each other in minute, I know this from experiance, by the time a little negroe boy is born to the time the get old, they have a fifty percent chance of being killed by another negroe, it is not there fawt, it is in there dna, I am not racist, I know what reality is,
