It's been 12 weeks and the PT every other day is more like S&M torture, it takes days to recover, like starting from day one. Can't even plug a cord into electrical socket, or open a door with a key. Has anyone had their MD tell them the truth, like there could be outrageous pain? How long??? I don't know anyone who has had this type of surgery, so I don't know if it's just me, or if I had a hacker for a surgeon. I have an ulcer from the NSAIDs, silly pills never worked for the pain anyway. Help, I have to get my right arm back.

After 12 weeks you should be well on the way to recovery. It sounds like it's time for a second opinion.

A friend of mine had this done and his doctor warned him that it could take up to a year for a full recovery. He came back from it in 5 months.
Watch your PT carefully. The shoulder moves in four different directions, make sure they're covering all four. My friend's PT didn't include all four ranges and he ended up suffering from Frozen Shoulder. And from experience, I can tell you that it's very painful, limits your range of motion, (I couldn't even wash my own behind with my right hand because of the limited range), and makes the shoulder very weak.

My Dad had it done about this time last year. He was told horror stories about the recovery. The doctors considered his tear to be quite bad. They were telling him at least 6 months to a year for recovery. My Dad was back to 100% within 3 months thanks to me.

He simply got more oxygen into his system. Oxygen speeds up recovery time and I showed him how. I would be more than happy to show you if you like.
