I am not sure but I have heard that rubbing in some cocoa butter or shea butter (the purest you can get - not just an ingredient in a lotion or cream) works.

Also - they make Mederma for these I think. My friend was using all of these when she was pregnant and you can't even tell she was pregnant so I guess something worked. The best thing to do it keep the area(s) moisturized so it does not get worse.

You may also want to see a dermatologist and check out the products at Bliss Labs (online and in finer dept stores) - I am sure they sell some things.

Unfortunately though - once they are there it is hard to do anything about them - the best way to make them less obvious is to tighten the area in question. Most of the research has shown that nothing works on stretch marks - some things may help but that nothing really works. :( Worth a try though.

:o)

Rub some vitamin e oil or tissue oil over the stretch marks. This will help with increasing the elasticity of the skin. They will fade with time. It does take a while, so don't expect any miracles.

regular massaging with creams as the skin has lost its elasticity in that area, Vitamin E cream or almond oil cream helps alot.
