Please help. I would like a list of words, correctly spelt, that agency's and companies use on a recruitment basis, especially in the legal secretary sector. I have a second interview on Monday for a job I would love to get I'm good on the visual and the typing, only, my spelling has lapsed through spell check abuse. If anyone can assist me I would be most grateful.
I can give myself a weekend of spellings practice.

Many thanks in advance.

Ironically the Gaurdian Gruniad Guardian (they have a terrible reputation for getting spellings wrong) have a spelling quiz on line.

I have simpathy for you, before spell checkers were invented I predicted that we would all have computers with spell checkers and their would be no need to know how to spell. So I never tried with english at school. I was right, but I often find myself in sisimilar positions.

I play literati on line a lot, it helps........

Correction: correctly spelled (not SPELT).

This may help you. You should only practice the FREE classes.
Don't pay for anything.

Good luck.

(It is NOT necessary to thank someone, "in advance." Thank you is sufficient.

there is only one way to learn how to spell... reading
not reading webposts like this, where anyone can write what they want (and spell it how they can)
also, NEVER trust a "spell-check" on your computer... recently a friend showed me the "forward" to his book
how was the computer supposed to know he meant "foreword"? forward was spelled correctly, but it was not what he meant.
writing is an art, and spelling a tool of the art.
even crazy painters know what brush to use.

Are not you allowed to take your laptop or a little spelling computer into the interview with you ? Engineering types are allowed to take their calculators or calculating computers with them to interviews - some even sleep with them.

"Non Compos Mentis"
"Habeas Corpus"
"Nolo Contendere"

Know these common latin legal terms.

1)Instead of 'spelt' substitute 'spelled' correctly.
2)'Agencies' is mispelled; and it does not have an apostrophe either.

Good luck!

I can't help on the spelling - but your punctuation needs a bit of work - not much, but some.

You need to sort out your use of apostrophes too, they are not for plural words, only belonging words
