Yes. Not too long ago a I had a dream Lucifer himself was looking for me to finish a job his lackies couldn't. He wanted me because I'm good at what I do; get results. Same thing in real life, people (even strangers) personally come looking for me because they know I get results. What made it so scarry is when I woke up, I could "feel" him in my room and I was too afraid to open my eyes, because I believed if I did I would see him staring right back at me. I ran out of my room and didn't return till daylight for a while.

I have bad dreams all of the time and that why I am not sleeping right now. I really don't want to go into detail about the dreams, but there have been some bad things happening to some of my family members lately and I dream about it all the time. And I would much rather be awake and think about it than dreaming something worse is going to happen

Only when I was a child.
When I do have a bad dream I just close my eyes and I'll end up in a better place or most of the time I wake up.
I guess thats the only way you can beat the bad dream is closing your eyes. If you're still in the dream. Say to your self with your eyes close........ Its just a dream... over and over and you'll wake up instantly.

Sort of. Maybe you should seek some help from a counsellor. Maybe something is going on in your life that's making you dream this way.
Dreams are just an outlet for the subconscious.

if I were in a bad dream, I would close my eyes and when I open my eyes, i'll be somewhere else better (other dream). or it'll be just blank.
seriously. that what I do since I was a kid. it works. that's why I never have trouble sleeping due to bad dreams.

Yea, actually.
When I was a kid I used to have this dream of a crack in the ground that'd chase me, swallowing up everything... friends, family, pets... Finally I gave up after I lost everything I loved, and I stopped and waited for it to swallow me up.
But I would always wake up just before it did.
Oddly enough, the dreams stopped when my abusive older brother was sent away to a Home.
Think he was the crack swallowing up my world?
Maybe there's something in your life that's continuing its influence even in your dreams.

no, never, I am able to wake myself up from bad dreams, and I have a great degree of control in my dreams, I know that I am dreaming and I can wake up.
