but i just cudn't understand the purpose of men having nipples.

men have nipples because they don't do any harm, and it is simplest for embryonic development if males and females have the same basic body structure.
Having nipples causes no problems for the average man, so there is no evolutionary pressure for them to disappear.
There are many similar structures in the human body which play no apparent function - why have earlobes? appendices? and more than half of a creatures genetic code is left over junk from earlier generations. No longer used, but as they do no harm there is no pressure for them to be evolved away.

All embryos start off female. The Y chromosome doesn't kick in until later to determine which organs to switch on. (Women actually have an underdeveloped prostate gland which would have developed in utero if she had been male). Other parts of female anatomy are primitvely male, but we won't go into those here less it be considered inappropriate. Hence the nipples in males.

It's an evolutionary gimmick..
We may have required them during the Really dark ages, before we even looked like apes.. chances are that women have not always been the carriers of offspring during the evolution of our species..
Yet, perhaps it's in the future that the requirement for such apparently superflous additions to mens bodies are needed..
The lives of women have changed so quickly in less than a hundred tears, perhaps it wont be long before the roles we are used to, become blurred, or reversed..

Actually when the embryo begins to grow,it is not conformed that it is a male or female.so nipples or formed.But after five months only it get sure that it is a male or female.

humans whom evolved from primates only have two whether male or female. dogs are a different story.
