I think that life is full of gray areas. Maybe some days life is beautiful but there are other days that life pretty much sucks. However I think that perception is unjust. I think that it is specific situation that " are beautiful" or that " suck" not life as a whole because that is a pretty broad and general statement for something that no one really can explain. And in turn, if like cannot be explained in a bad or good sense, than who is to say that death which often cannot be explained, cannot have the same description of beatiful or that it sucks/

It's a roller coaster ride. Most of the time life is just life and fairly uneventful.
At times it is punctuated by moments of spectacular beauty.
And often it will be characterised by an overwhelming sense that it just sucks.
How one responds to these times will determine ones normal view of life.
Learn all you can from the bad times... you may be able to avoid some of them in the future.
Treasure the good times... remembering these can bring a smile to your face and lift you up.
Embrace the boredom... when you feel neither up or down, that can be a good thing... use this time to evaluate what has been happening with you, make plans, try to change the course of your life for the better.

Both. There are times / days when everything just seems to be working out perfectly. I am happy, all worries have been temporarily resolved...... (not often, unfortunately though).
Then there are those times when absolutely nothing goes right. Bad hair day to begiin with, can't find anything to wear, got in a stupid arguement with my boyfriend and he's gone off with his friends instead of the shopping we had planned together. Every little thing is totally overwhelming, I can't get caught up with the simplest things, am broke, etc. etc..... (fortunately all those things haven't happened all at once - knock on wood), but you get the idea.
For me, more often than not, life sucks. But there are just enough of those beautiful moments to make me want to keep on going.

Life is what you make of it, I have suffered deep depression in the past when I wanted to end it all, but now I am glad I didn't because my three beautiful children would have grown up without a mother and it wouldn't be fair to them. Also I am working full time which is something I hadn't envisioned me doing for a long time and I am currently studying for a degree part time, life for me doesn't suck. What you have to remember is that it is always darkest before the dawn.

I have to agree with Ya sai. You can't know what true happiness is until you've felt real sadness. Life has it's ups and downs, but the good makes up for the bad. So I guess life is both beautiful and it can suck.

This is a tricky one because...
Sometimes i can be so happy and life can be beautiful but at times it can suck big time!! It's so confusing how you can go from being SO happy to it all pissing back in your face. I wish my life was beautiful all the time... but doesnt everyone? But then we learn from our mistakes and when stuff happens to us. Im sure everyone from time will get a beautiful moment in life that will last for awhile... i'm still waiting.

Life is beautiful and the greatest gift. We can have sucky days sometimes, but think of all the good days compared to the off days.
Always love life. My mom has this little plaque on her kitchen wall that says, "Live well, laugh often, love much". That about sums it up for me.

Life is life; Good, bad, ugly and beautiful all at the same time it is not and can not be defined as one of these unless you are;
Good - Optimist
Bad - Cynic
Ugly - Pessimist
Beautiful - Opportunist

There are always two sides to a coin - you won't know what happiness is until you've experienced sadness, you won't know what darkness is until you've seen the light, so I guess life is beautiful and sucks too is one way of looking at life.

according to me life is what u make out of it u have to bend the life the way u like or see life the way u want then ull know that life isnt suking it is enjoyable and a bouque of red roses waiting for u not a bed of thorns take life as it comes ull never be sucked up
