Don't you think it was an error to refuse this protocol ?
Aren't we sawing the branch wich we sat ?

On the one side there's the warnings of many well-qualified scientists, and on the other, potential corporate profits with great power over the media in a sea of blinding apathy...

Definitely. There is only one reason that anyone would want to refuse that treaty...for personal profit.
