I have been told about a movie based on the true story of the guards that worked on the border between North Korea and South Korea. The guards became friends and even crossed the border to do things together. I'd like to know what the title of this movie is because I think I'd be interested in checking it out.

Cast: Lee Byung Hyun, Lee Young Ae
That is an incredible film, but it has a very sad-end like many other movies on the same subject : "Coast Guard", "Shiri", "Welcome to Dongmakgol". You can check those out, too.

You should know that's not based on the true story. But about the times that movie was released, the similar accident was broken in that area backgrounded in that film.
But it's not the real story.
