Motorola V-180. Basic flip phone from Cingular, really. But I did my research on it first. It really has great reception, the speakerphone works real well, everything's user-friendly, and it's compatible in other countries. The battery life is also pretty good...they say you should change your battery each year, but this one's still going pretty good. It's light and durable, and picks up a good signal in remote places (I like in a mountainous area).
It also doesn't get real hot too quick.
Sound quality is good...good basic phone with some perks.

Cons:
In the address book, if you want to enter multiple numbers for 1 person, then it allows you to do so, but each entry for that person takes up its own numbered space (if I enter your home number and cell number, it'll allow me to do so, but the home may be in slot 10, while your cell will be assigned to 11).
Also, I'm on my 3rd phone...the first one deleted the voice command and added a camera feature (there's not a camera on this phone though), and the second one didn't receive calls. This one's pretty good, but it sometimes freezes (rarely, but still, sometimes). But when it does, you just have to let it fix itself, b/c the "off" command won't even work.

I think my next phone, though, will be an LG or an Ericson (just waiting for that upgrade) :)

Blackberry 7130. I just LOOOOOVE IT!

I've tried them all: I had a Palm for over 7, then a Pocket PC for 3 years. Now, with my Blackberry (and the Blackberry Enterprise Srver - BES), I'm in love!

The Palm was nice and very stable. The pocket PC was ok, but the WiFi was VERY unstable and the system hagned once in a while (Microsoft!...). The Blackberry is just Great!

The only problem with my current Blackberry is: no Word/Excel applications (but I think I could buy them), no MP3 and no camera. But the new devices will provide these features.

I have a Nokia, but I forgot the type. It must be 62xxi or something.

It is not bad, but there is a central button on it that makes you easily press the wrong function. Therefore I'll buy a new one soon, but it will be a Nokia again because I think their menu is so easy to use.

my first phone was a Nokia 3210. I ditched it and replaced it with something that is different from a lot of people. So i decided to purchase a k700i - love it very much...it is user friendly. Recently, I bought a new one. Again a Sonyericsson k610i. - love its display and it is more intelligent than the k700i

I currently own a BlackBerry 7100g smartphone, and am considering an upgrade to the new BlackBerry Pearl when it becomes available via SunCom later this year.
