I'm a staunch supporter of BET and UNCF. Yet they are discriminatory organizations. I don't think there's anything WRONG with a *PRIVATE* organization deciding who their audience is, or where their money will go.
Though I despise their views, the KKK also has a right to exist. And to build a college fund if they want. Likewise the Jewish anti-defamation league.
There *IS* a white college fund -- it's called the Daughters of the American Revolution. And like the UNCF, they should be allowed to set their own membership requirements and their own expenditures.
We need to keep the government out of personal business.

who's stopping you from starting one?
and there are scholarships for candidates of Armenian, Japanese, Jewish, Italian descent, funded by organizations of people of their respective ethnicities. those were just a few I found in a brief google search.
I've never seen a "white" group that wasn't about (alleged) racial superiority.
There are, however, perfectly cromulent organizations for the those of Nordic heritage, Celtic Heritage, Italian heritage, etc, that exist only to celebrate their own culture rather than to denigrate others.

Well, true there isn't a white month, but there is something called a white year which takes up most of the months in a year! You have white santa, the white easter bunny, a white irish leprechaun, even the skeletons for halloween are white. You also have a white channel, have you heard of the channel CMT.
