Could well be. To get us to pay 10 x and more for lightbulbs. To keep our vehicles off the road. All the additional expense of re-cycling (when you consider the amount of fuel expended by the trucks that go around collecting re-cycled waste and the cost of the trucks and the pay the collectors earn) where is the saving!

Well, what is going to matter is that if all of the ice in Canada or the Arctic region were to melt, it would force the water levels in all bodies of water, including the Oceans and Seas, to raise approximately 5-6 feet.
This would completely wipe out all low lying areas close to those bodies of water, and create gigantic tidal waves, such as those that hit the Philippines a couple of weeks ago, that would either flood, or completely wipe out entire countries.
Canada and all parts of the Northern U.S. would be completely flooded over, and would enter an "ice age" period. With no land around to retain heat from the sun, these places would be desolate, with no people left. Global warming is no joke! What used to be the Arctic Circle is now putting Polar Bears and all other cold cliamate animals, birds and fish in trouble. Where once the polar animals had refuge, it is no longer there.

see the fact of the matter is we really don't know because we have only been aware of the weather patterns for a very short time so, it could be a true thing or not and as to when it all melts those people living on the coastal areas are going to be screwed

Yes it's a scam.
The earth has cycles. 20 years ago, it was an ice age scare!
The earth cools, and then it warms.
By the way, Mars is a few degrees warmer. Was that caused by smog? Could it possibly be the Sun? The giant ball of gas that heats our tiny planet?

I am in agreement with you, everybody is saying global warming today, and nobody says a thing about the fact that the earth might just be heating up on its own, after all the earth has been a lot hotter in its life than it is today

The global warming is happening. Prove? The seasons. There are no winters like 30 years ago. With lots of snow and below 30 degrees C temperatures.

We can't face problems in the world such as:
(global warming, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, sting-rays being defensive, etc etc)
by using prayer, science proves this.
Instead of wasting your time preparing for
an afterlife, spend this entire life preparing your future generations for their lives and so on.
The one's who didn't evactuate New Orleans
just sat back and prayed that the hurricane
wouldnt flood New Orleans. Wow!!! Their prayers
were answered huh? They didnt leave b/c they were
lazy and thought prayer could help divert the
hurricane. WRONG! We as a human race have to take onproblems in the world Face-to-Face, not Face-to-Thought.

Global warming has led to negative glacier mass balance, causing glacier retreat around the world. Oerlemans (2005) showed a net decline in 142 of the 144 mountain glaciers with records from 1900 to 1980. Since 1980 global glacier retreat has increased significantly. Similarly, Dyurgerov and Meier (2005) averaged glacier data across large scale regions (e.g. Europe) and found that every region had a net decline from 1960 to 2002, though a few local regions (e.g. Scandinavia) have shown increases. Some glaciers that are in disequilibrium with present climate have already disappeared and increasing temperatures are expected to cause continued retreat in the majority of alpine glaciers around the world. Upwards of 90% of glaciers reported to the World Glacier Monitoring Service have retreated since 1995

i dont think it is a complete scam ... we are polluting the environment and affecting weather patterns im sure ... but i also think that there is the possibility that those in the elite circles could use the environmental card to impose more "globalization" thinking on us through global regulations hence giving them more power and control over our lives in unforeseen ways.
