There are 2. One was when I was a kid and I had to leave the theater crying it was called "Don't speak it, hiss it" basically about people being turned in to snakes for freak shows...at that age it was the perfect terror flick and I was really shook up.

By far the worst scary movie I ever saw, with all the hormones of pregnancy running thru me to make it nice and vivid and gory was "Happy Birthday to Me" came out I think in 1983.

Don't be afraid of the dark...

When I was a kid I loved horror movies and THAT one actually got me jumping.. and even a few nitemares.

VERY hard to find movie. I finally got it again last year (Ebay) and watched it again... not quite as good as I remembered but still a classic one that can get ya movin around in your seat.

The movie that had the most psychological effect on me when i was 7 years old. "Night Of The Living Dead". The original one. As you get older, they tend to have less effect on you, I would guess.

Kujo scared me because it was something that can really happen. I could relate because we lived in the country and one time had a rabies scare. Kujo still disturbs me, but it's one of those movies that I can't look away from if I happen to come upon it on tv or something.

Evil Dead. But avoid the sequel like The Plague, it was the stupidest film ever made.
