Ok... I was driving down route 66 last week in my new red mustang with the radio on and listening to my favorite Garth Brooks song... when i thought i blew a tire the noise i heard was soooo loud.. So i pulled over and got out of my car and OMG.....

In all my life, I had never had something like this happen to me before. Probably the deer sensed something of the animal lover in me and seemed to make an appeal with her eyes.I lifted the kid gently and placed it on the side of the road, covering it up with a blanket from my trunk.

I've written novels, short stories, essays and poems. I'm working on a 4th edition book about watches now. Where do you find Route 66 now? There once was a TV show about it I hear. It used to go diagonally across the USA, but it has been replaced I think. I recall seeing a short stretch of it in Arizona years ago. Is your story set in the past? I've written a series of tales set in 1933, 1926, 1914, 1616 and 898. That takes much research. I won't ride with you if you listen to Garth Brooks. If you heard a loud noise, it was me when I shot your radio with my .500 Magnum Linebaugh "Bisley" revolver. OMG indeed!
