I need some ideas for home made costumes.Men/women and kids.
Any help would be appreciated.

Some of my favorite memories of costumes were dreamt up by my grade school teachers: a clear plastic garbage bag around you and a bunch of colored balloons makes you into a jellybean bag. And another woman I knew was dressed as a bunny coming out of a hat. I think she let her own legs come out of the bottom like they were the legs of the magician.
Then this past Halloween at the West Hollywood parade, some of my favorite costumes were people who pretended to be Katrina victims ontop of their roofs by having a tent over their bodies while a little dummy body made it look like they were ontop of their "house". And some other people had decided to be Katrina, with a huge spiral or s-shaped set of clouds.
And my own favorite costume which was self-made was inspired by Neil Gaiman's story of Snow White as a vampire, in his "Snow, Glass, and Apples". I wore the disney type costume with pale white clown makeup and fangs.
