Well she's 83 now, so I'm sure she'd much prefer a quiet life. Her last acting job was in 2001, but she's recently been in interviews about classic TV. I remember seeing her recently and she still looks good - it's always strange to hear her speaking with her normal voice LOL All in the Family was such a great show!

She does a lot of work on broadway & I've also seen her in hallmark movies on t.v. She is nothing like the Edith character she portrayed on "all in the family" (which goes to show you what a really good actress she is) She's probably getting up there in age,so not as active these days I'm assuming.

She's great. The ;ast thing I saw her in was the movie "You've Got Mail", with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. It was out about 8 years ago.

<>I guess she's retired (at 83 years, who deserves it more?). Her last work, according to imdb was "Like Mother Like Son: The Strange Story of Sante and Kenny Kimes" in 2001.

And, no, she hasn't died. (Archie (Carroll O'Connor) did in 2001).
