You've already got it. Just send an email that says "Goodby to work."

Something like this:

I just wanted to send a note to let you know that I'll be leaving BlaBla Corporation on October X. Fred Smith will be replacing me as Accounts Manager, International Sales.

Should you need to get in touch with me I can be reached at __________________________________________.

* * * * * * *

or something like:

This is to let you know that I will no longer be Accounts Manager, International Sales, at BlaBla Corporation. The person who will now hold that position will be Fred Smith.

I've recently resigned in order to (fill in the blanks: start my own business, spend more time with my family, devote more time to something I've been working on for quite a while now, accept an offer with Oogies Corporation, finally live in a warmer climate)

My resignation is effective ________________. I can be reached at _______________________ if you need to contact me.

I

Dear fellow employees,

I wanted to duely inform those I consider to be my friends and co-workers of my decision to leave my position of employment.
I wish to thank you for the time I was fortunate enough to spend with each of you, for the lessons I learned as a result, and hope that my departure will not cause any undue concern for any of you.
I wish you all well, and I trust that our paths might cross again at sometime in the future.
Sincerely,
Your friend and co worker,
