All are poor and starving and they say this is how ALL native to that continent are. In fact some cities look more develope than American cities.

Our tv commercials used to show starving children so we got it in our head that how all of them are...

Probably because in the US we don't cut peices of our daughters virginias off or chop up people from another tribe like in Darfur or practice slavery or use rape as a weapon of war. Since these are acts of a barbaric people and are practiced by AFRICANS then they assume they must be some lower level of societal development. Thus, they must live in huts and have medicine men runnig around while herders tend to cows. The stereotype might hurt your feelings, but deal with it. Every stereotype has an element of truth in it.

When I was a young lad my grandpa would buy the "National Geographic Magazine" and, most of the pics showed half naked black Africans dancing around a midnight fire in front of poorly built mud huts.

Well not this white girl. Why would people vacation there if there wasn't anything there except poverty and huts? We are not all ignorant when it comes to Africa. I am just more interested in the children who are stricken by poverty and Aids and who live in those huts.

Because the majority does live in the utmost poverty. I am a PROUD african, but te povert across the continent is terrible.

I can't speak for all white people, but I don't believe it. Heck, I live in Texas, and don't own a horse, don't pack a gun and don't wear jeans.
I'm not even a particular fan of country music.
