The best thing to do is to get some St. Ives Apricot Scrub for Blemish and Blackhead Control. It is oil free and has salicylic acid. You can get it at any Wal-Mart or most drug stores. I have been using it for 8 years and I never have any problems with blackheads. But, the mistake that most people make when using these kinds of scrubs and cleansers is making it a chore. If you just use a little to scrub your face with everytime you take a shower instead of using soap it will really work. Inevitably though you will still get the occasional pimple. When this happens rub a little bit of toothpaste (yes I said toothpaste) on the affected area before you go to bed and wash it away in the morning before going to work/school. Be sure to use the paste kind though and not the gel kind. I really hope this helps you out, Good Luck.

No it is not good to use everyday. By doing so you are taking essential oils that your face needs to replenish itself and maintain a healthy glow. Only use scrubs 2-3 times a week and stick to soap (dove) and water the rest of the days. If you are still feeling a little dirty after washing, use witch hazel or a gentle toner

I've always heard that it's not good to exfoliate every day. It's better to do it 2 or 3 times per week. Exfoliation is to slough off dead skin cells, but if you are doing it every day you are probably irritating delicate new skin.

About two to three times a week but it does depend on what you mean by "scrub". Exfoliatie by all means but please do not "scrub" in the sense that you take a heavy duty loofah and set about your skin wth gusto! Be especially careful around the delicate eye areas. A natural soap is, as someone has already said, best.

First of all, don't use that st. ives crap that everyone uses. the stuff in it is so rough that it scratches the skin and you'll get wrinkles. You're better off w/something like a sugar scrub. check out origins. and yes, these are safe to use everyday. i like a kind from yves saint laurent. g'luck

It depends on your skin. People are different and can handle different amounts. The best way is just to try - starting with less frequent scrubs, and going to more frequent as necissary.

if you have very oily skin and a gentle scrub, you could use it every day, if you have sensative skin once or twice a week.
