I just watched the movie, and it was seriously disturbing. People are sick though...do you think somewhere in the world they actually really have a place like that? What sickos.

Don't watch movies like that...I mean, its a free country and you can do whatever you want, but it is not good for your mental health to watch such horrific scenes. Now, see? You're wondering if there are murder clubs out there in the world. You don't need those kind of worries. Think sunshine and flowers, not Quentin Tarantino box office bombs.

Eli Roth (the director) supposedly found a thai website that advertised paying to kill people as some sort of vacation, he showed it to Quentin Tarantino, and they came up with the movie idea. He talked about it in some interview he did, and its also on the imdb trivia page. Just scroll down to the bottom, its right beyond the "spoilers" warning.

Yes there are clubs like the one showed in Hostel. These clubs usually specialize in snuff films, and are being investigated by the FBI. Millions of people around the world are kidnapped each year to supply fodder for these clubs and the snuff films they make, their clientel number in the millions.

Yeah it's a very disgusting movie..
The movie is based on a true story though..
So, I believe that there are people who do such disgusting things to another human being for FUN.. Sick people(yucks)..
