I have dreamed of having a car and a bathroom like that. I mean why shouldn't I be able to take a hose and wash down the inside of the car and bathroom like that.

It makes sense to me.

The 50s was a great time, TV was just coming out, watch 'The day the earth stood still' seriously, it is a simple movie, but without a bunch of special effects, it had something to say, it was scary for then and I think, it could be scary for now even and the bad thing about it, is that it could happen.

Space travel was barely started, Sputnik was a major topic, spurred the US into the space race and the TV shows that came out of it...Star Trek and Lost in SPace (ugh, how bad the special effects were) but they saw the future. We are lucky, we are getting to live it. Or at least some if it.

Definitely. It's funny to look back even a couple decades ago and see what people imagined for the 21st century.

I think they did, but I also think we've surpassed their ideas, all except for the Jetson's flying cars. I'm still wanting one of those!
