In the middle of the day I want a few minutes to myself to relax and laugh so I choose Ellen Degeneres. I like that she laughs at herself while she's telling a story--she really gets into it. She gives gifts away to her guests and the audience, but they're on a relatively small scale and it's like an indulgent aunt giving you something just for visiting her.
Ophrah has gotten strident lately. She has interesting topics, but I feel sometimes like I'm watching an information-gathering session of a government agency. Her attitude has changed from when she first started--she acts kind of superior.
Forget any of those women on The View--especially now that Rosie O'Donnell is on. I wouldn't be surprised to see a biker rally in the audience one day--only she'd probably end up alienating them as well.
