Buying a bikini is not a shameful thing. I guess only confident gals will want to buy a bikini to wear. So dun feel shy abt it. Be more confident. I guess u shld try the major shopping ventres. They do sell good bikinis. I mean there are a lot of different brands around. The helpful service staff will help u choose the best one.

you can try the swimwear section upstairs at takashimaya. That section has a large collection of bikinis to choose from, and while it is a shopping mall, i don't think it's that easy to notice you among all that colourful bikinis. :)

There's a store on the 2nd level of Bugis Village. I forgot the shop name but you can find it if you walk around. It's pretty secluded and the lady there is very nice.

tannlines, surf n splash etc.. to find somewhere where no one can see is quite difficult. try going to some places where your frens and family don't frequent then. paragons new extension is quite quiet
