He is my favoirt Martial artist! Why is fearless his last movie?

"Fearless" is not his last file. Just his last "Martial Arts" film. Years ago, while filming another martial arts film named "Shao LIn Temple, he injured his legs and I think is the ligaments around his calf or ankles.
Doc advised him that if he continue to act in martial arts, he one day will not able to walk, so "Fearless" is his last martial arts film.
Also, he said that after so many years of filming martial arts movies, he wanted to try something else.

Jet Li is not at his last film..he is in another movie(not martial arts) which i forgot what the title was...however, its his last movie for martial art film...i heard sources saying that he had some injuries some time back and if he continues filming martial art movies, he's gonna end up in wheelchair..therefore, i think that's y fearless was his last kung fu movie =)

Jet li decided that thsi would be his last movie because the first movie he made was about the student of the character he plays in "fearless." He figured he was he getting older and thought that his movie career ending where it began was a nice way to leave things.

You know, good question? That was not part of the adverts for the first few weeks. I will be so sad! But they do not say it is his last film - it is said to be his last epic martial art film... whatever that means. Whis there was a way you could let me know when you find out

It's not his last movie.
He's got Rogue, with Jason Statham and Devon Aoki coming out in 2007: An assassin named Rogue (Li) kills the partner of FBI Agent Jack Crawford (Statham). Crawford feels partly responsible for the death of his partner and devotes himself to bringing the assassin down. http://www.roguethefilm.com/

think i heard long ago this was his last Martial Arts themed movie. he wanted to focus more on other themes of movies.

Two reasons. 1. More people will go see it, thinking it's his last. And 2. Do you see all the sh** they do in those movies, it has to be really tiresome. I love him but I don't blame him.
