I've got a 2 year old Halloween costume that my child wore only once. I thought of Ebay, to get rid of it. Any parents out there knows what a pileup and waste of all these old one-time worn costumes can amount to. Although I was an avid fan, is it too early to try and make a few bucks from the sale of it? My child doesn't want to be Steve for Halloween, and I don't want to be disrespectful about his recent untimely passing? I also think this would be some form of tribute to him, what are some opinions?

Yes, it is a form of tribute, am sure Steve would say 'Crikey, mate, hope the kid who wears it has a great night'.
That is just how he was.....

To be honest, it is clear from your posting you don't have any 'nasty' reason to sell the costume. So, just do it. I don't know if you'll get many takers. Also be prepared for a bit of potential abuse, because people get very sensitive about things like this and look for insults where sometimes there are none. However from what I saw of Steve Irwin I'm sure he would have been the first to say 'Life goes on.'

The costume may hold some value. It also might go for a high price on ebay right now. If someone really wanted it they would be grateful for the opportunity to purchase it. I don't think it's disrespectful at all.

No, I don't think it is wrong, it would be a tribute to him if a child wanted to dress up like him. Go for it, you are not being disrespectful at all.

Now that is a whopper. I'd say selling it would be fine, but a buyer buying it to wear rather than as a souvenir would be a little out of the ordinary.

in the journey that your objective replaced into to get responses on your question, you have succeeded. in case you prefer to work out how impressive your answerers are or purely have a dying desire, bypass forward. on the different hand, get an ape journey and positioned on an illustration which says "i'm Allah" and bypass trick-or-treating interior the Muslim community. outcomes would be lots a similar.

I wouldn't think it would be wrong. Someone who admires Steve Irwin might be very delighted to have it available.
