Depends on what service you use (i.e., AOL, MSN, etc.). If you are using AOL, check out the chat rooms. When I used AOL, there was one for my town and actually got to meet quite a few from the Omaha chat. Now, as far as finding an internet buddy that doesn't lie...that might be tough. If you are particularly looking for a female internet friend, most of us shy away from guys when they start asking personal questions and unfortunately, the answers are usually false. Trust is hard to earn on the internet, so you really have to be careful. Check out some blogs here on Yahoo at 360, too. It's all worth a shot.

So, no lying, but female's optional?
Go to chat rooms for things you like, though Dungeons and Dragons may not have the best male/female ratio, and try to hit it off. You should be able to figure who's female from the subtle clues the drop. Like their name, comments about their periods etc.
If you meet someone on some internet site with a common interest, there's less incentive to lie, at least about gender.

well that would have to depend on how truthful you plan on being.there is alot of variety out ehre in cyber land but keep in mind most of us are true to our word. good luck in your search!
