Every day I wake up at about
12:00 pm and write untill about 2:00 am, with a couple of breaks in bettween, to do whatever.
If I send a letter to a publisher or to an agent, that says I have written, such and such a number of books, will that better my chances of getting published?
I only have a highschool level education, but I have learned much more than the average person will learn in there lifetime.
Since of course all I do all day is find factual information that will help me write diverse non-fiction books.
I am starting to give up hope.
I am really wondering what I have to do to be one of best America writers.
Do you think the number of books I write will play a role in this particular situation?
I need words of adivce, I just can't do this anymore.
It's not like I am an odd ball or anything. When I'am not writting I am running, which I love to do, it immensely clears my thoughts and keeps me in shape.
This life of mine has just sort forced itself on me.

You are right that is true.
I just know certain things that no one bothers to care about.
For instance.
When we look at anything it is :
A.) Moving.
B.) Not moving.
Then blah, blah, blah, I go into theories that astound even myself.
If there was neither bad nor good we with are intelligent brains could not judge wheather to move or not to move.
So how can there be a heaven?
Only if it consists of good movments and good chooses would it exist.
If you can't tell what is right and what is wrong, there is no chose to make.
Then heaven does not exist...blah....more into the subject.

Even one good book is enough to get yourself declared as a genius. I suggest that you write a whole series consisting of 7-8 books.

Writing books will not qualify you as a genius. Having already had books published is the only thing about your other writing that might influence a publisher to accept the book under consideration. The quality of writing and potential sales are the important factors. The fact that you are writing is important, but you need to read if you want to be a writer. Read classics and authors considered to be among the best. You don't seem to understand what good writing is yet. If you send a cover/query letter to a publisher that is as poorly presented as this question, your work will end up in the slush pile without even a glance at page one. You need to learn how to present your ideas properly if you are going to have a chance. There are many ways to do this: reading reference books on writing, taking classes, joining writer's groups are a few. If you really want to become a writer, expend the effort to learn how, then if you truly have good ideas, you will get published.

Well, firstly, it won't help you to write a book a day. It takes great authors a great deal of time and research to complete a truly great novel. Don't know what kind of books you write, but do you think it took Dan Brown a day to write the Da Vinci Code?
If you love writing, that is great and if it is your passion, it's even better!!! I just think that you have to be selective about what you send to publishers and the fact that you might have written 500 books will not convince them to publish your book. Quality, not quantity!!!!!
When last did you have a look at the pictures of great authors? Most of them are middle aged to old. Give it time and don't stop trying..... success doesn't happen over night.

All it requires is one brilliant book. Look at the career of Colin Wilson for example. Go to www-personal.umich.edu/~jbmorgan/cwilson.html for information.
Wilson did not graduate from High School. First book, at 24, was an international best seller entitled "The Outsider, A Study of the Existential Personality in History and Fiction".

I doubt you have learned more than an average person learns in a lifetime at the age of 17.
Beyond that, spending all of your time writing will surely not create interesting works. To get published, you must write something that people would want to read. That usually comes from diverse experiences. At this point in your life you probably do not have the knowledge base to produce interesting works.

Dear boy - it is not the quantity of writing that counts. It is the quality. And remember the publishing world is a cutthroat business. Start small - like a university publisher. But make sure that what you are writing is good.

You only need to write one really, really great book to first get published and then be declared a genius. If you aren't actually a writing prodigy, then this will not happen for you. Just keep writing, keep submitting and see what happens.

Excellent.
I don't know you but I am so proud of you.
The number of books you write is not as important as is the value of what you write.
You could write 565 books that were bad.
You could write one book that is good.
Write. Just write.
Write what you know. Write about running. Write about writing.
Do not despair.
Just write.
The rest will take care of itself.

its quality not quantity that defines one as a genius and writing non fiction may be a mistake because that is defined by facts but genius blooms by exploring great ideas not regurgitating facts
