Snide 64 is right. Turn the key to the on position and press the accelerator peddle 3 or 5 times till it blinks. Back to off and then start . I believe it tells you this procedure in your owners manual. Under maintenance. It may even say resetting oil change indicator

Don't recognise the car but most reset the light by holding down the trip reset button while turning on the ignition and waiting for like 10 seconds before releasing the button and turning off the ignition.

If the shop did the oil change, they forgot to reset the service reminder. If you did it at home, you didn't reset the service reminder. There should be a reset sequence in the manual. If you no longer have the manual, ask at the dealer, it's usually pretty simple.

reset the computer by removing positive terminal of battery for 10 to 20 minutes. that should reset it
