Oh..yeah! I remember it distinctly. It hurt my eyes, and I asked the nurse to switch it off. She mistook me to be flirting with her and spanked me.

Do bright lights hurt your eyes first thing in the morning after being in a dark room for the last 8 hours? My guess would be yes, only a baby has been in the dark for over 9 months, so it would be even worse for them.
