do the bright lights hurt your eyes when you are first born?

I cannot remember that far back. Didn't seem to bother my son though.

I don't know. I don't remember back that far....lol. Experts don't really know just how painful childbirth is for a baby. There really isn't anyway to tell for sure. I would be willing to bet that after being inside a dark, wet sac for 9 months, that it would be quite a shock to the baby's system, and that it would take their eyes a while to adjust.

yeah, i had to wear shades for 3 weeks.
