I'm just wondering how long I'll be in the hospital after I have my Gallbladder removed?

sometimes its outpatient. talk to your surgeon if they make the large incision it may be three days. If its laproscopically you may go home the same day. My daughter is 20 and going through this now she sees the surgeon Oct 3rd good luck to you.

That answer depends on how they remove your gallbladder..If its done laparoscopically they make several small incisions in your abdomen and using a camera and special tools they can remove your gallbladder. If they are unable to do that then a larger incision must be made in your abdomen
Either way, you have to be tolerating food by mouth and usually at least passing gas before your discharged. For the most part patients go home in a few days--2-4 days is average in most hospitals.
