hey frendz...i live in a small city and am exhausted looking for a good beautician..have tried several places but people give me mixed reviews about all of them..some say ths one is good and some say the other one is good..also taking a trial from all of them turns out to be very expensive...so what do i do??? i have a naturally beautiful complexion and good features so i dont need much of make up ...you think i should do my make up myself and just get someone to do my hair???or any other suggestions?????????

You're very lucky to be blessed with a beautiful complexion and good features. I too live in a small town and understand how frustrating it can be to find a good beautician.

It would save you a lot of hassles if you did your make-up yourself. You could experiment with different looks for various occasions.

You could perhaps even get a friend or relative to help with your hair if you're going for slightly more complex styles. Alternatively, depending on the length, just use a curling tong and add a pretty clip.

Good Luck!

How close do you live to a bigger or metropolitan city? How about planning a day trip to a close city and having your hair cut by a stylist there? After that, head to a department store and visit the makeup counters. They will help you for free and will follow your direction that you want a "natural" look. You'll feel like a million bucks and by consulting the experts, you'll have a "look" that you can reproduce at home! You might just enjoy it enough that you'll want to go back every few months. Good luck!

Have you ever just sit in on the beautician meaning go and watch how they do other peoples hair? That would probably make your decision a lot easier. But if you don't want to do that,

then I would do my own make-up and hair. Also is it a special occasion? Or are you just wanting to get your make-up and hair done?

Hit the make up counters at stores you like (Nordstroms, Macy's, Bloomingdale's) and ask the sales women what they suggest. They usually know all the right spots for hair and make up. Good luck.
