Well if they are your grandchildren, you were a parent once upon a time. You raised your kid(s) without the benefits of high tech stuff that's out there today. You found ways to make them happy, or at least deal with it, when you couldn't afford (or just wouldn't buy) the things they wanted.
So they didn't get exactly what they wanted. Big fat hairy deal. They will get over it. Are they really so spoiled and shallow that they always have to get their way? I sure hope not, but even if they are, you can find ways around it.
How about doing something for a change instead of them sitting on their butts in front of the TV? Play some games, do some crafts, go outside, or get out a puzzle if nothing else. They will get over their pouting if you don't allow them to manipulate you.
